Scripture: Isaiah 61:6-8

Isaiah 61 verses 6-8 state, “But you shall be named the Priests of the Lord, Men shall call you the Servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. Instead of shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.” The Bible says, that we shall eat the riches of Gentiles and in their glory boast. Isn’t it interesting that this passage states that we have to possess the double in our land. If we do not possess it, we do not get it. Many know the keys have been bought and paid for, but I do not see very many people possessing. Every one of us can readily use the key to our own house, when we need a place to sleep. We not only possess that key but we fumble around when the front light is off and find it so we can get through the door. Isn’t it time we took the keys God offers and began to use them in our circumstances following the Davidic outline by praying some of David’s prayers. We may be stunned at what God does!
