Scripture: Isaiah 22:20-22

If ever a passage should cement our understanding of the key to the house of David it would be Isaiah 22:22 which says, “The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut;
And he shall shut, and no one shall open.” It is obvious that when Jesus said to Peter “…whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” He was releasing the key to the house of David to the church. There is no getting out of it and there is no turning away from it. The church must pick up the keys to justice! Our assignment is to open the door to eternal justice to every leader who refuses repeatedly to repent. It is time we understood that God is asking us to use the keys to make a difference in our realms of authority. As long as the church plays like a social club instead of an army, there will be no justice. But when the church stands up in Kingdom authority and declares and decrees, by using their keys, I suspect the angels will finally have something to do. Are angels tired of waiting on the church? Are they bored with watered-down Christianity? If you see one, ask him!
