Scripture: Proverbs 4:20-23

Proverbs 4:20-23 says, “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” What we put in our heart is seed and when it comes out of our hearts it establishes the issues of life. The Hebrew word for ‘issues’ is to-tsaw-aw, and it means the establishing of the borders and boundaries of life. The promise is that in God’s ordained season after we put the word in our heart it will bring forth the borders and boundaries of life. That was the promise God gave to Joshua: Keep the word in your heart, meditate on it day and night. It will make your way prosperous and you shall have great success.
