Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23

Galatians 5:22-23 outlines the nine fruit of the sprit which should be the pursuit of every believer. The verses state, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” The nine fruit of the Spirit represent the Priestly Christ. When we match them with the nine fruit of the Kingly Christ then we find that there is an amazing balance between the two that prepare us for standing in every situation to visibly bring forth the triumph of Christ. Without the Kingly fruit the nine Priestly fruit are not balanced and we find the Church in unsanctified mercy often acting nicer than God. This passive church is lost when facing governmental decrees. Paul did not walk there. Apparently the reason he did not was he understood that the fullness of Christ included both the nine Priestly fruit and the nine Kingly fruit. Together they represented the fullness of the heavenly Throne-Room and without the Kingly displays there can be very little triumph. It is time we not only said yes to the nine fruit of the Priestly Christ but also realized that the nine fruit of the Kingly Christ are available!
