Scripture: Psalm 2:1-3

Psalm 2:1-3 says, “Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.’” We can see that the wicked are clearly casting the cords of righteousness from them as politicians gain office whose purpose is the promotion of evil and the removal of God’s righteous standard. Previous generations placed righteousness in the law of the land. How long will Jesus sit on the sidelines and watch as the cords of righteousness being destroyed in the land? That depends on whether He can find anyone who will judge righteous judgment and declare by the Holy Spirit the judgment of God on perverse behaviors. The early church did not have any problem judging righteous judgment on Ananias and Sapphira. I expect those days will return.
