Scripture: Joshua 10:11-14

To what degree is God willing to go to war?  When a man who knew he was in covenant and had a heart for war prayed, observe what happened.  God stopped the heavens.   He did it for one reason – so that Joshua could kill more of the enemy.  Now that is a statement.  That is a statement about God’s Heart.  Only God could arrest the rotation of the planets.  That is one of the most spectacular miracles in the history of the Bible.  That is right up there, not too far from creation.  He stopped the rotation of the planets – why?  What was so important in the Heart of God that He would be willing to stop the rotation of the planets?  Answer?  So Joshua could kill more of the enemy.  Where is that heart in the church today?  Somebody has been successful in neutering the church.  Tradition has robbed us of the God of War.  It is about time we put that under our feet and stood up to be all that God has called us to be.
