Scripture: Malachi 3:1-3

Malachi 3:1-3 says, “’Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,’ Says the LORD of hosts. ‘But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.’” If there was ever a picture of the Jesus of Revelation visiting His people, it is right here. Malachi spoke it and we are living in a season where Jesus is coming to perform it. Is there any doubt that He is the refiner’s fire? And as such, He is after one primary thing – an offering in righteousness. An offering without manipulation. An offering that is not taken by telling people how much we need. But an offering that is done in righteousness. When we are the Priest that can make that offering before the Lord, then we arrives at the place God wants us and His hand can be moved solidly against the enemy.
