Scripture: Philippians 3:7-10

The Apostle Paul found God’s preparational price tag when he was called. Everything he had built up and amassed was suddenly flushed and went down the drain. It was over, done. He had to start all over and rebuild. What was important before was not important anymore and he was reduced to verse 10, “…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,…” The price found Paul. Many people in the church today romanticize about ministry and God’s anointing. They do it by not counting the cost. Joseph’s words, “Why have you repaid evil for good?” speaks to the preparational pattern and price that every person has to face as we walk with the Lord through the baptism and the cup!
