Scripture: Psalm 102:12-20

In Psalm 102:12-20, we find the declaration of a time of God’s favor for His people. That favor has a purpose. In verses 16-20 we are told, “For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer. This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord. For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the Lord viewed the earth, To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To release those appointed to death,…” We find that our prayer is heard and the issue is over a people yet to be created so that they may praise the Lord. He looked down from heaven and loosed those appointed to death. This appears to mark the issue of abortion. Our intercession and our prayer must be for the rising of God so that all those adamantly championing abortion are aborted. God knows how to abort political parties in power. It means dealing justice on the kingpins who fund and drive abortion. The Creator is looking at the loss of generations of children and He is hearing our intercessory judicial prayer: Let the death they intend for future generations seize them! Our intercession must be judicial – that the same God who created something new for Moses has a pit that these people fall in and, if they refuse to repent, never come out. If it is not there right now, our prayers like those of Moses will create it! The Father is listening, are we praying?
