Scripture: Revelation 3:1-6

To the church of Sardis, Jesus says, “You have not finished what I have asked you to do. As a result, I am coming to you. But when I come, I am coming as a thief. I will take every good thing away. If you do not repent, the Judge is standing at the door. Now repent and get on with completing your call.” How could we have missed this Jesus? John 10:10 says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” In the Gospels, the Priestly Christ says the thief is the devil. But in Revelation 2, the ascended, seated King of Kings and Lord of Lords says, “If you do not repent, I am the thief and I will take away from you everything that you have.” Are we ready to represent Him? The truth is, we represent both. The time to represent the King is here.
