SATURDAY, JUNE 16
Scripture: Psalm 44:4

Psalm 44:4 says, “You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob.” “Command’ is the Hebrew word tsaw¬yaw. I have always believed the best dictionary for the Bible is the Bible. If we want to see what God is talking about when He says, “command,” then we need to look at where this word appears, and how it is used. Jesus guaranteed David’s covenant of Sure Mercy. That means every New Testament believer should pray like David prayed. The Psalms contain adversarial prayers for every situation. Therefore the victories commanded have something to do with justice in the earth over enemies, probably concerning our harvest field. Are we praying “Lion of Judah” prayers? Where do we stand on that position? Are we seeing God’s Hand? Are we declaring God’s Hand? Are we calling God’s Hand into action? Moving God’s Hand against evil is an eternal work!
