WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10
Scripture: Matthew 10:35-37

If we are going to initiate the Sword of the Lord by declaring, decreeing and releasing Spirit-breathed words, there is a threshold we must cross in preparation. That threshold is partiality. In order to move the judicial Hand of God, there can be no partiality in us. What we are willing to declare, decree or pray over another person has to be something we are also willing to pray, declare or decree over our own family members when needed. When it comes to the application of the Sword, God has a level of inherent mercy. Because of the principle of partiality, we must be willing to extend the same level of mercy to those we minister to in the world as we would to our own family members. This principle, more than any other, guarantees an upright priesthood.
