Scripture: 1 Timothy 1:18-20

In 1 Timothy 1:18-20, Paul is recounting the warfare that he had regarding Alexander the coppersmith. Paul delivered two men to satan for the destruction of their flesh so that they would learn not to blaspheme. It seems like we have quite a few blasphemers around today. They seem to populate certain television networks. Some are atheists, and some are just malicious. Their words and actions declare they are blasphemers. Where is the affliction that goes with their actions? Jesus has not changed. The example Paul set has not changed. The problem is us. We are not seeking the Spirit’s release to pray it and we should! The Body of Christ is innocent – they did not know they could. Most leaders are innocent being bound by tradition. Who is guilty? Demons, Eli’s and Aarons? Repentance and forgiveness are available to Eli’s and Aarons!
