Scripture: Exodus 15:1-3, 15:6,7

Exodus 15:3 says, “Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces. And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble.” God overthrew those who rose against His covenant people. He sent forth His wrath and consumed them like stubble. What does it look like when God sends forth His wrath and consumes people like stubble? Does it look like Herod? The early church prayed. Does it look like the Egyptian army? Do we serve a Risen Savior who will respond in this dimension? Perhaps we should reread the book of Revelation just to see how Jesus interacts, not just with the church, but with the world. Are we ready to represent this Jesus? Do we know this Jesus?
