Scripture: Psalm 58:4-8

Psalm 58:4-8says it like it is. These are the kind of Psalms that we should be putting in our spirits and our hearts. We should be memorizing these so they can be prayed in intercession. Verses 4-8 state, “Their poison is like the poison of a serpent; They are like the deaf cobra that stops its ear, Which will not heed the voice of charmers, Charming ever so skillfully. Break their teeth in their mouth, O God! Break out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord! Let them flow away as waters which run continually; When he bends his bow, Let his arrows be as if cut in pieces. Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes, Like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun.” This is the Heart of God. The Heart of God cries out for their teeth to be broken in their mouth. It cries out that their fangs be broken out and that they flow away as waters which run continually. God has a bow and arrows. He shoots His arrows at enemies of the Kingdom. God is a Judge and it is time to ask Him to visit our enemies – even if they reside in some of the highest offices in the land. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered!
