SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26
Scripture: Luke 10:19

Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power/doo-nam-is of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” In the last days, we are going to encounter counterfeit signs and wonders. We are going to encounter people moving in what appears to be the Holy Spirit, but is truly a demonic counterfeit. The question is, what will we do when we encounter it? According to Jesus, if the Spirit leads, it is time to go judicial and go Davidic. But the only way to prepare is to learn our covenant. How did Paul do it? As he was led by the Spirit, he prayed and brought blindness on a false prophet. How did Peter do it? He was led by the Spirit to announce the death of Ananias and Sapphira. Learning the voice of the Spirit is essential for the days ahead. It is knowing our covenant that allows the Spirit to push us into the place where we can agree! Biblical promises build faith. Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the Word. We can forfeit our faith for Holy Spirit manifestations by not learning the Word. By learning the Word, the Spirit has the material He needs to activate in us at the moment He needs us to act! Following the Spirit is a life-long pursuit!
