Scripture: Genesis 18:19
Verse 19 says, “For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” The first two primary responsibilities of Abraham were first to teach his children and second to share with all those with whom he had dealings as part of his household. That is what God expects of us. He expects us to train our children and talk to all those who we do business with about Who He is. If we are willing to do that, then we can participate in all the promises that God made to Abraham. But faithfulness in the first two is required to start the process.
