Scripture: Matthew 12:16-18

Matthew 12:16-18 speaking of Jesus says, “Yet He warned them not to make Him known, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.’” One of Jesus’ primary purposes was to release the Holy Spirit and that when the Holy Spirit was released He would declare judgment, The Greek word here is kree-sis. Kree-sis is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word mish-pawt. This word in the New Testament reflects confidence in our following the Holy Spirit! Judgment therefore becomes a primary issue of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ purpose under the anointing of the Lord was to declare the judgment of our God and we know He preached righteousness and walked in it. Are we ready to follow His path? The end-time anointing is both Kingly and Judicial. Those who hoard wealth and use it to promote evil are worthy of God’s full judgment! As individuals have shed the blood of innocent children or used their wealth to support evil, so shed their blood or take their wealth away oh Lord! Reward evildoers according to their works!
