Scripture: Psalm 2:1-3

Psalm 2 is the blueprint for the great end-time harvest. Psalm 2 makes it very clear how this plays out. The first thing Psalm 2 identifies in verses 1-3 is a group of rulers, judges and politicians who set themselves against the Lord and against His representatives. Psalm 2:1-3 says, “Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.’” Anybody can identify that group. They legislate against biblical morality. They are here, they are active, they are arrogant and proud boasters and they are not difficult to find. In America it seems they congregate, but are not exclusive, to one political party. Children that are not wanted can be killed. Sexual sin that God abhors is not only protected, but promoted. The rulers and judges of Psalm 2 are easily identifiable – we know them by their fruit. They legislate immorality and rejoice in their successes. But now the question is, what judgment shall God’s true representatives declare and decree on their head? Rejecting Christ makes them worthy of death!
