Scripture: 1 Peter 1:17-21

1 Peter 1:17-21 says, “And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.” The foundation for walking with the Judicial Christ in the last days comes from developing a healthy fear of the Lord, knowing that He judges according to each one’s work. If we conduct our time here in the fear of the Lord, then we know that our redemption is eternal. And this develops the faith we need to walk in, in order to do the works that God has ordained for us. Let us not forget that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and without the fear of the Lord as the foundation, we really do not have the faith to walk with the Judge. It is the fear of the Lord that forms the foundation for the great faith required to walk with the Judge. The fear of the Lord keeps us in holiness and produces the faith for the judicial. If you are wondering, where we get the faith for the judicial, it comes out of this process. It is the fear of the Lord that presses us into holiness that releases the faith to walk in the judicial. Do we have the fear and faith necessary to walk with the Judge?
