Scripture: Psalm 68:9-13

Psalm 68:9-13 says, “You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance, When it was weary. Your congregation dwelt in it; You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor. The Lord gave the word; Great was the company of those who proclaimed it: Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home divides the spoil. Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, You will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her feathers with yellow gold.” God’s purpose is revealed by His Word. And He gave us His Word as seed. We sow the seed by memorizing it, by speaking it into our heart and then we proclaim it, declare it and decree it. We call it forth as God’s purpose. Psalm 68:9-13 is good seed for everyone who, in God’s purposes, labors behind the scenes to sow that His purposes may be fulfilled.
