SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4
Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:7-9

Verses 7-9 says, “For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.” In America, we know that God brought our forefathers into a wonderful land. And our land has been endowed by God with everything we need to do what He has called us to do. We have more oil than any other nation. Over and over again, God has provided dramatically and awesomely for the land if we will choose to develop what God has given us. A biblical view of the environment means developing God-given resources. Demonic environmentalism casts man as the enemy and the earth as god. A great deal of the nation has been deceived by demonic environmentalism and as a result, we do not use the resources God has given us. Romans 1 clearly says that nature worship brings destruction. And putting nature above man thwarts Kingdom purposes. We need to pray an end to this deception and begin to use the resources God has given us!
