Scripture: Matthew 24:11-15

Matthew 24:11-15 says, “Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand),…” Here, Jesus is answering the question about the end of the age. We are told there would be many false prophets and lawlessness would abound, but he who endures to the end would be saved. And that will take major faith to do. Despite judgments falling around us left and right, the promise is that God will keep us alive to preach the gospel until the end of the age. These end-time saints are to witness all the way until the end of the age. Are we ready for that witness? We certainly need to prepare because the church has to survive the judgments to be God’s trumpets to the world. Whether we will live to see this season or we pass it on to the next generation, the church has to be ready. Will we be?
