SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9
Scripture: Mark 9:49-50

Verses 49-50 say, “For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” In order to be covenant warriors we have to be able to stand in the fire we call down. We have the authority to call God’s fire down, but we have to realize that we must be clean enough to stand in it ourselves. Our salt works judicially as long as we keep our lives clean. Righteousness and holiness are the foundation for the judicial power and authority of God. We must walk in righteousness and sustain holiness because that qualifies us to have salt. It is our choice and it is crucial to prepare to walk there. Nations need to see Christ in the last days and whether or not we can walk victoriously with Him depends on the magnitude of harvest we get. We have to make sure we pursue everything God intended us to have.
