Scripture: Zachariah 12

Because Jesus is the root and fruit of David (Revelation 22:16), we need to realize that we are all of the House of David and we are of the Kingdom of David. In Zachariah 12:6-9, Zachariah saw what the House of David looked like in the last days. Zachariah 12:6-9 says, “In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem. The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” This passage describes the judicial at its apex. Zachariah saw the Judicial Christ at His apex in the House of David in the last days where the harvest is for nations. This anointing is available and the question is, will we choose to pursue it? It is covenantal, it is prophesied, it is promised and it is available! It starts when we obey and walk in the whole counsel of God’s Word.
