Scripture: Zachariah 12:10-14

The same prophet that said the counsel of peace shall be between the Kingly and Priestly anointings gets a view of the House of David in the last days that is both Kingly and Priestly. Verses 10-14 show the Priestly side, “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.” That mourning is an intercessory cry that produces a salvation harvest and a cleansing of the land. God has a tremendous harvest for us in the last days. The prophets saw it and even Hebrews 11 makes it very clear why the prophets are given to us as an example. They are an example because by faith they subdued kingdoms. And that is what we are called to. We are called to subdue kingdoms so we can participate in building and populating the great end-time harvest. It is time to walk it out and God has it for us.
