Scripture: Mark 4:9-12

Verses 9-12 say, “And He said to them, ‘He who has ears to hear, let him hear!’ But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. And He said to them, ‘To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that “Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And their sins be forgiven them.”’” If we have ears to hear, then we must do this. Jesus said we have been given the key to the mysteries of the Kingdom. Turning the key means praying in tongues until we receive understanding. And if we do not, the keys God intended to unfold the wisdom necessary to build His Kingdom never come into fruition. The enemy steals from us because we choose not to do the Word. In verse 12 Jesus says, “…so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand;…’” The key to understanding is praying in the Spirit! Are we doing it?
