MONDAY, JUNE 19
Scripture: Luke 24:26-27

Verses 26-27 say, “Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?’ And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” What does that say to us? It says the first thing Jesus did after the resurrection is that He explained Who He was as the prophet like Moses. He started with Moses so its clear Jesus thought it was foundational. Perhaps Jesus knew they could not gain the ordained harvest if they did not know the Jesus Who was a prophet like Moses? He started with Moses and it says, “He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” Jesus wants to reveal to us Who He is in us. We cannot literally meet Him on the road to Emmaus but we can press in and pray in tongues. We have to seek the Spirit and pray in tongues so that God can truly unfold the mysteries He has placed in our hearts.
