SUNDAY, JULY 16
Scripture: Jeremiah 1:8-10

Jeremiah 1:8-10 says, “’Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,’ says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: ‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.’” Jeremiah found the Jesus who was a prophet like Moses and as a result, he was given an anointing over the nations and over the kingdoms to 1) root out, 2) pull down, 3) to destroy, 4) to throw down, 5) to build and 6) to plant. Jeremiah was given a double portion of the judicial anointing because it was necessary to save. In this passage, the judicial anointing that destroys has to come before the priestly anointing to plant. This tells us something important about bringing in a harvest in the last days. We may have to destroy twice what we get to harvest and do so before the harvesting begins. We need to participate in some serious prayer for guidance in knowing specifics and strategies in prayer. In other words, praying in the Spirit over what we are to pray. Are we supposed to be praying mercy or judgment? If judgment, what judicial prayers are we supposed to be praying? Praying in tongues will help us hear the Spirit on these things! Praying in the Spirit is a path through the unknown to the Promised Land – may we find it!
