Scripture: Acts 2:22-24

What do we do when we read verses that do not fit into our understanding? Pray in the Spirit until God gives direction! Verses 22-24 says, “For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.” I wonder if all the prophets since the world began got a glimpse of Jesus as a judicial prophet like Moses. Certainly verse 23 makes it clear that every soul who will not hear that Prophet will pay the ultimate price. How do we prepare for our unknown future? Is praying in the Spirit our best option?
