Scripture: Acts 3:25-26
Verses 25-26 say, “You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.” The first thing Jesus did was He became our Savior. The second thing was to baptize us in the Holy Spirit! We are told in context that He is a prophet like Moses. Moses was the very first one to reveal the Judicial Christ. Nobody had seen Him in that magnitude before. But Moses, functioning as His representative, revealed Him. And it looks like the end-times is going to take the fullness of Christ as both Savior and Judge. Acts 3 is preparing us for that very fact. Are we willing to represent both the Savior and the Judge in the last days? Only praying in the Spirit can fully build that into us!
