SATURDAY, AUGUST 26
Scripture: Job 31:23, 37:23-24

Job 31:23 says, “For destruction from God is a terror to me, And because of His magnificence I cannot endure.” The NIV translation says, “For I dreaded destruction from God, and for fear of his splendor I could not do such things.” This is a verse we can pray over enemies of the Kingdom. In the NASB version, Job 37:23-24 says, “‘The Almighty—we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not do violence to justice and abundant righteousness. Therefore men fear Him; He does not regard any who are wise of heart.” Another version says, “He is too much for us He is excellent in power, in judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress. Therefore men fear Him; He shows no partiality to any who are wise of heart.” That says volumes about Who God is and Who He is ready to be. God is ready to show off in our behalf and we have to ask Him and cry out for His judicial Hand to save us just like the Israelites called on God to save them from the bondage of Egypt. He is the same yesterday, today and forever and we have the same covenant. These are prayer strategies that work and we can employ them immediately. Let’s get ready and start asking, in Jesus’ name!
