SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22
Scripture: Deuteronomy 20:16-18

Deuteronomy 20:16-18 says, “But of the cities of these peoples which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, you shall let nothing that breathes remain alive, but you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, just as the Lord your God has commanded you, lest they teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done for their gods, and you sin against the Lord your God.” God is very obvious in what He calls us to do and in what He calls us to pray. He has an ultimate goal of saving the nation and preserving the people in righteousness. We need to soak in this truth and learn to pray accordingly. Agree with me: ‘Lord, You know who is going to turn to You and who will not. Lord, You know and we don’t. The ones who won’t, Lord, the ones that undermine your purposes and harvest, cut them off. In your mighty name let Your Hand come upon the wicked and remove them in Jesus’ name! Let destruction come that the fear of God would fall for the salvation of many.’
