MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27
Scripture: Luke 10:17-20

Luke 10:17-20 says, “Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, ‘Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.’ And He said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.’” Here is another mark of a person who is strong. They are willing to say what God wants said even when they know that it is going to result in persecution and rejection. It can be a kratos test, dunamis test or an exousia test. It can be a test of government or it can be a test of character. All these tests say very simply one thing about a person, whether or not they are wholly given over to God for His purpose even when obedience means hardship and ridicule. Those are the strong in the last days, those wholly given over to God who will do whatever the Lord says do. Praying in tongues will ignite might and strength in us and will empower us toward obedience!
