Scripture: Isaiah 53:8, Job 22:27-28

Isaiah 53:8 says, “He was taken from prison and from judgment And who will declare (gaw-zar) His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.” That same word gaw-zar is used in Job 22:27-28 which says, “You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. You will also declare (gaw-zar) a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.” Peter probably in part due to Paul’s prayers, had light shine on his ways. As soon as Herod died Peter was no longer a target for Herod. What do we say to that? That is the power that Jesus longs to manifest in our behalf against all of those who try to undermine and subvert God’s purposes. Jesus took judgment to victory. Now the question is, are we going to participate in it since it has already been bought and paid for? Access to covenantal justice has been blood bought!
