Scripture: Psalm 9:10-12, Psalm 25:9

Psalm 9:10-12 says, “And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people. When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.” One of the great things about walking in holiness is that it preserves and nurtures a humility that has all sorts of benefits. Out of humility comes trust, out of humility comes praise, out of humility comes a heart that God will hear when we ask Him to avenge blood. He remembers the humble. He does not forget the cry of the humble. The cry of the humble is always close to the heart of God. Is it any wonder that the humble He leads into adversity in order that He can execute judgment and He can clean things up as a result of their abuse and mistreatment. God is amazing in how He does that. It is something and as believers we are called to participate in (to bow to mistreatment too). We certainly see this truth unfold again and again in scripture. Psalm 25:9 says, “He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.”
