SATURDAY, JANUARY 12
Scripture: Judges 2:21-23

Judges 2:21-23 says, “‘I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died, so that through them I may test Israel, whether they will keep the ways of the Lord, to walk in them as their fathers kept them, or not.’ Therefore the Lord left those nations, without driving them out immediately; nor did He deliver them into the hand of Joshua.” Why was God testing them? He was testing them to determine if they were walking in the way of the Lord! The way of the Lord is what Abraham walked in. Will we yield to God in this? Will we walk in righteousness so we can do judgment? Why is there an enemy? Experiencing warfare through adversity allows the church to walk in righteousness and do judgment. Will we use our covenant of glory? Will we pray judgment on the wicked? It is our choice. If we are not willing to pay that price to walk that out, then we are not worthy of the glory. We have to be willing to be numbered with the people of God!
