MONDAY, MARCH 11
Scripture: Ephesians 3:8-12

We are aware that the purpose of Christ was to destroy the works of the devil, but we also find out in Ephesians 3 that there was an additional purpose He had for us that only mature kids are able to accomplish. It says, “To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.” According to verse 11 the eternal purpose of Christ that Jesus carried to fruition was that you and I with boldness, faith and confidence would demonstrate to the enemy and his realm that they don’t rule. We already know where the confidence comes from. The key to this process of completing our assignment is confidence before God. That means we have to achieve the same testimony the Apostle Paul had. ‘I’ve lived in all good conscience before God until this day. I know nothing against myself.’ Are we there yet? Probably not! The reason we are studying this is that this is the revealed Biblical pathway to get there. That is why we are doing what we’re doing. Accepting Christ’s provision of adoption is entering God’s family through Jesus the Door.
