Word At Work Bible Study
Word At Work Ministries provides prophetic biblically based teaching to the body of Christ every month in a daily bible study format. These topical studies tackle relevant issues with the intent of strengthening each individual to choose Christ at every juncture. Our goal is to provide daily bread in bite-sized chunks that make a difference in life’s decisions and to deliver timely words as soon as the Lord releases them.
While the bible studies are the foundation of the ministry, many series have grown into themes demanding deeper study and are made available in book form through our online store.

Outcry For America
As believers, there can be no debate over the realization that we live in perilous times. It is urgent for our world, our nation, for our children and their generations that we discern the times and seasons. In Matthew 24:6-7a Jesus said, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” We, as parents, face quite different circumstances than our parents during World War II.
Sixty years ago, when nation fought against other nations, the enemy was both identifiable and locatable geographically. We have advanced in this prophecy to the dimension of “kingdom against kingdom” where both identifying and locating the enemy geographically are difficult because the lines cross national boundaries. The roots of this conflict are first spiritual and consequently cannot be solely fought by the military on foreign soil. When “kingdom rises against kingdom,” a significant portion of our own national population can, knowingly or through deception, unknowingly, support the enemy. Sometimes the enemy are members of our own family.
In World War II there was a strong consensus about how to deal with the potential threat of an enemy within. Today, organizations like the ACLU consistently aid the enemy by attempting to destroy reasonable safeguards. The Israelis have been very successful employing racial profiling in deterring hijacking. Thanks to the ACLU and treasnous news organizations, effective counter intelligence programs have been exposed and compromised. The church must arise like a mighty army to use all available weapons to defeat a determined enemy! We have an enemy both without and within that must be addressed spiritually.
The spiritual component of this warfare has never been greater, demanding new levels of involvement by Christian people. The weapons of our warfare are mighty through God, but not very effective if never used. Mobilizing the church begins with recognition of the times and seasons, followed by responding to the call of the Holy Spirit to action. Equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry is taking on new urgency especially when the future of our nation hangs in the balance. Each month the “Outcry For America” section will feature an article, downloadable audio, or prayer strategy focusing on winning this war with our spiritual weapons.
