October 2009 Outcry

As a Christian in an increasingly hostile world, there has never been more to be discouraged about. As a prophet seeing what is available to the church there has never been more to be encouraged about. God always rises upon His people in seasons of persecution to do exploits. When antichrist inspired politicians ascend to political power, spiritual warfare takes on a new dimension that often demands a dramatic transition into new levels of power.

If the nation of your residence was founded in covenant with God then the way we conduct our warfare changes. Praying for salvation is always a good thing, but often takes decades to work out. Because America was founded in covenant with God, then we have the obligation to approach God on the platform of covenant demanding justice and removal of every perverting politician. God knows how to protect His heritage. For the sake of the elect, He has promised to intervene. The Word at Work Bible Study for October entitled “Kings and Priests II” reveals the intent of America’s founders to covenant with God.

When a leader such as a president or prime minister embraces antichrist positions supporting abortion or homosexuality then Deuteronomy 7:9, 10 must be activated by the church in prayer. Invoking Deuteronomy 7:9, 10 in prayer demanding God execute His covenant is entirely appropriate. Verses 9 and 10 state,“Therefore know that the Lord your God He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face.” In Ephesians 2:12,13 Paul states clearly for all to hear that when we accept Christ, all the covenants of promise belong to us,“that at that time you were without Christ being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

One of the major problems with today’s church is a serious Word deficit where many suffer from a lack of knowledge of what belongs to us and the most expeditious way to appropriate it. Having a covenant with God allows me to place very strong requests before His Throne sometimes like writing a check which initiates a form of payment on demand. The problem with writing checks on covenant is that usually we have to show equal deposits! The demand Abram put on God in Genesis 15 returned as a demand seven chapters later and Abram had no choice but to pay up! As the children of Abraham, we have every right to demand covenant action based on the choices of our leaders as they champion antichrist positions. Be prepared for God’s demand to shout from the housetops all He whispers in the ear.

Days of confrontation with evil are here. Those who champion evil have the authority of government to incarcerate and persecute the church. As it was in the book of Acts with rulers in government harassing the church, so it is with us. We have the right to appeal for covenant justice just as they did. They demanded Psalm 2 and got it! We can demand Psalm 2 or Deuteronomy 7 where God promises to pay back to their face every departure made by antichrist-inspired politicians who violate the covenant of religious freedom for which the founding fathers died. Covenant justice was guaranteed by Jesus. It is available in His name and should be demanded continually before His Throne until His hand removes the perpetrators. When God pays a person back to their face, it usually is permanent! May the church move God’s hand!
