Scripture: Revelation 1:12-16

Revelation 1:12-16 says, “Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.” Now the real question for us is, if we are going to develop in the Kingly anointing it means we have to move with Jesus and Jesus is releasing a sword against His enemies and it comes out of His mouth. He releases a sword with words. There are many men in the Bible that release a sword with words, but David is perhaps our greatest example. He prayed prayers that Christians are afraid to touch. He released a sword with his words that God honored! In Psalm 55 David prayed, “Let Death seize them…” and a few days later it happened! The stunning thing about David’s release of the Sword is the rapidity with which it manifests! God executed and brought the sword that David released into manifestation. Do we feel comfortable releasing a sword with our words? Can we pray prayers that bring down the sword of the Lord? If we can, does it mean we have developed the confidence and anointing of the Kingly Christ?
