FRIDAY, JULY 1
Scripture: Revelation 1:5,6

Revelation 1:5,6 says, “…and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Every New Testament believer is assigned to grow and develop into the fullness of Christ. Christ is both Priest and King. The Priestly ministry ministers salvation and the Kingly declares justice according to the moral standard of the Ten Commandments. By emphasizing the Priestly, we have failed the church in developing the second level of who Jesus is. The ascended Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and He is the Judge of all the Earth. The government is on His shoulders, but the church rarely accesses governmental authority. In the natural, our firemen and policeman have no problem accessing the governmental authority of the badge they wear. It becomes as natural as getting up in the morning and walking down the street. They learn to represent the authority of the government they serve. There is a difference between a policeman and most Christians. policemen have learned to do their job of enforcing the law, while Christians have not tapped God’s judicial authority! The enemy has cunningly neutralized the church, and he accomplished it through tradition. We are, I believe, standing on the edge of the greatest recovery movement in history. As the church recovers the authority of the risen Christ, our spiritual “policemen” will arise. When we face losing the nation, the church is forced to be the church!
