Scripture: Psalm 149:6-9

Psalm 149:6-9 says, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment-This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!” The Hebrew word in verse 8 for ‘bind’ is actually aw-sar, meaning ‘to utter the sound that starts the battle.’ God has given every believer the honor of uttering the sound that releases the Sword of the Lord in covenant against their enemies who refuse to relent. We are always looking for someone else to do it, when God says “It is an honor I have given you.” You and I have to make the choice to walk into that place. There seems to be a condemning voice always saying someone else is more qualified. Hezekiah thought Isaiah was more qualified. Hezekiah was in the King’s office and God wanted to hear the King. Are you in the King’s office? Revelation 1:5,6 says you are! Push yourself to act like it!
