Scripture: Isaiah 42:5-13

In Isaiah 42:5-13, we find God declaring that He created the heavens and the earth. He stretched them out. He gave breath to His people and Spirit to those who walk on the face of the earth. He declared it and He did it. He has called us into righteousness. Jesus was given as a covenant to the people, light to the Gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison house. He declares He is the Lord of all the earth. He commands us to sing a new song. Even let the wilderness and the seas lift up their voices. Let them declare and praise. He is going forth, He is stirring up His zeal like a Man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout. He shall prevail against His enemies. The Creator, speaking to the creation, says, “I go to war! I am ready to put your enemies in the grave. I will cause them to be seen no more.” The God who created the heavens and the earth tells us it is time. He is a Man of war. He will prevail against our enemies. All we have to do is ask Him. It is time to ask.
