THURSDAY, JULY 12
Scripture: Luke 10:4, 10-12

When Jesus sent out the seventy, He told them not to take a money bag, sack or sandals and not to greet anybody along the road. That was not very evangelistic. They were to get to their goal and preach their message. According to verses 10-12, if they were not received they were to step out and execute a covenantal, biblical curse. They were to slap their sandals together, shake the dust off their feet and declare, “…it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for your city.” That is the Lion, in action. Now why, do we not get that in evangelism classes? Why is that part left off? Why have we been force-fed Lamb-only and never called into the Lion? The Lion is about to roar!
