MONDAY, OCTOBER 8
Scripture: Romans 8:1-7

The reason people stay under the dictates of the flesh, according to Romans 8, is that they choose to set their minds on specific areas of the flesh. Those areas become strongholds because they are continually fed. The depth and degree to which a person feeds a concept determines the weight and application of the hammer necessary to break it. The longer we feed the flesh, the more it becomes a giant. The five layers of God’s love can all be likened to a set of bigger, stronger, weightier hammers. The choice of which layer to pray to break through is determined by the Holy Spirit.
