WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5
Scripture: Matthew 10:5-7, Matthew 10:5,6

When Jesus sent out the Twelve in Matthew 10:5-7, He made it very clear what they were to preach and declare. Matthew 10:5-7 states, “These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: ‘Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”’’” The declaration was that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. Present-tense, operational, functional and accessible. Is the Kingdom of Heaven at hand today? Most of us would agree that it is. So why do we not see more manifestations judicially? The answer to that is, most of the church is only trained to be Priestly. We have not trained the church in the Judicial Kingdom. If we had, there would actually be some fear of God in the land. Since there is very little, it is obvious where the problem is. The Twelve knew the Kingdom was here. How long will it take us to embrace what the New Testament so clearly teaches? There is a Kingdom, and that Kingdom has a judicial element. God is waiting for us to execute it by His Spirit!
