Scripture: Joel 2:27

Joel 2:27 states, “Then you shall know/yaw-dah that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.” Paw-law becomes yaw-dah in God’s progression of preparation for demonstrating the Kingly Christ. When God fulfilled the promise to Abraham and Sarah, then the ultimate of intimacy became the platform for their relationship with the Creator. The restoration of paw-law/the promise releases yaw-dah/the ultimate of intimacy in their lives. From this point on they knew God as a Creator that fulfills His promises and would in fact do what He said. In Genesis 22, when God came to Abram and said, “Take your son and sacrifice him,” Abram had no hesitation. In verse 5, Abram said to his young men when they arrived at the location for the sacrifice, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.” The paw-law produced a yaw-dah that became the foundation for Abraham’s interaction with God from then on. When the locusts eat up the mixed-seed of self, then we live the rest of our life to please God and not ourselves. God brought Abraham into that place and wants to bring us into that place. If we will let Him, then the fullness of the Living Christ will come forth. If we do not, then we continue in the adversity that eats up the mixed-seed of self until it is completely consumed. This is God’s preparation. This is how it works. We have a choice to submit or reject. It is time we said yes, and finished the process.
