Scripture: Hebrews 10:26,27
Hebrews 10:26,27 says, “For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.” Do these two verses sound like there is no more judgment? Not really. The NIV says, “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.” When does the God of Grace become our enemy? When we refuse to deal with issues of self that He is after. Let us choose God’s school because the reward is hearing throughout the rest of our lives what the Sprit has to say. The key to this walk is repentance.
