TUESDAY, APRIL 22
Scripture: Romans 13:1-4

Romans 13:1-4 says, “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” If we had been doing verse 3, we would not have the mess we have right now. There is presently no fear of God in our politicians and the reason is that the church does not rise up in our Kingly anointing and terrorize evil. God intended that, but it is not happening. The Lord is ready, but we are not moving with Him. How long until the church begins to stand up in the Kingly anointing and begin to declare and decree the Judicial Hand of God on that which is evil and that which is vile? We are supposed to bear the Sword. Are we bearing God’s Sword? When we are called to Christian rulership, then we are called to be a King. Being a King means we must bear the Sword in prayer! But where is the Sword? Revelation 22:16 says, “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” Where is the Sword woven into our prayers? Destruction will continue until the church begins to bear the Sword of the Lord! Isn’t it time we started praying like David? Psalm 12:3,4 says, “May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, And the tongue that speaks proud things, Who have said, ‘With our tongue we will prevail; Our lips are our own; Who is lord over us?’” As the Holy Spirit leads, partner with Him to pray it over arrogant leaders who push through their own antichrist agendas like what has been done to health care. Are we willing to pray termination on these politicians that are bringing destruction on the land?
